![]() Luckily, my husband is supportive in whatever decision I choose. CAD/CAM software is used to design and manufacture prototypes, finished parts, and production runs. So, I’m wondering if I should just focus on camming for this chapter in my life and possibly getting a vanilla job later or try and get a traditional job now. CAM software uses the models and assemblies created in CAD software, like Fusion 360, to generate toolpaths that drive machine tools to turn designs into physical parts. I love the freedom that camming offers and the opportunity to be my own boss. I have a college degree and had great high paying jobs but, I’m torn between the idea of going back to a vanilla job and being confined to one place and company for so many hours away from my family (and potentially making less than what I can do by camming). But, they’ve gone back home and with the little time I’ve been online, I’ve made pretty good money! ![]() Ive been doing it part time for a little over a month because we had family/friends visiting and was nervous about them potentially hearing me. ![]() Hey there!
